On 21st September 2023 Mr. Md. Suruj Sarkar joined as a Chief Judicial Magistrate in Rangpur district. He is a member of 3rd B.J.S . His service ID No is 2008203228. In academic life, he obtained LL.B. (Hon’s) degree from University of Dhaka and before getting his result of LL.B. degree he became a proud member of Bangladesh Judicial Service. His home district is in Sirajganj. Prior to this station he was serving as an Assistant Judge in Jamalpur district, Senior Judicial Magistrate in Kishoreganj district, Joint District and Sessions Judge in Bogura and Thakurgaon district and Additional District and Sessions Judge in Tangail district . During his career, he received several training courses in home and abroad such as 84th Foundation Training Course,113rd Refresher’s Training Course for Senior Assistant Judges,101st (3rd Batch) Survey and Settlement Training Course, 136th Refresher’s Training Course forJoint District and Sessions Judges,11th Orientation Course for Additional District and Sessions Judges. In the year of 2020 he attended a training course on “Capacity Building of Judiciary in Strengthening the Subordinate Courts” which was held in Western Sydney University, Australia. Apart from that, he has been visited India also.His better half Ms. Taslima Nasrin is serving as an Additional District and Sessions Judge in Rangpur district.
